Tell me this. Why would a church that is perfectly capable of getting a place transition into meeting in homes?

The answer is simple. We are Christians. That means that we don't live by the same principles as every one else. We function according the the patterns and instructions of the Kingdom of God. In God's Kingdom, we obey His instructions, not the "best case scenario" or "what makes sense" or "what we can afford". No! In God's Kingdom, we obey Him!

Our first meetings as Houses of Worship was exciting! There were stories of change, new attitudes towards God, new desire to hear the Word as we all focussed hard to hear the message. New relationships are forging. The children are entering into a new realm of worship. And here's the exciting part: our outreach focus is taking shape! Some groups are focussing on reaching the homeless, another group wants to adopt a school, another group is working to be a blessing to the Hispanic community, another group with health care workers looked at how each member could be a blessing in their work place, etc etc. We are letting our light shine in a whole new way!

We often hear people say, "I don't want church as usual." Well, guess what? At House of Worship, we are not a usual church. We are usual people, doing unusual things to the glory of God.
